Keto Pepperoni Bites
Ingredients required for Keto Pepperoni Bites:
⦁ 24 slices pepperoni
⦁ 1 cup mozzarella (Cut them into 1/2 cubes)
⦁ 1/4 cup pizza sauce
⦁ Fresh shredded basil
How to prepare Keto Pepperoni Bites?
⦁ Firstly, preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
⦁ Cut each pepperoni about halfway up the top, bottom left and right side. You can assume the pattern of a cross.
⦁ Now, place the pepperonis in a mini muffin pan that allows the cut sides to overlap and create a cup.
⦁ You need to bake the pepperonis in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes until it gets crispy.
⦁ Now, remove the pepperonis from pan and use a paper towel so that it will absorb the residual grease from the muffin pans. Get the pepperonis back to the pan.
⦁ Next, take a half spoon of pizza sauce into each cup. You can now place a small cube of mozzarella cheese on the top of the sauce.
⦁ Now, return to the oven for 2-5 minutes until the cheese gets melt.
⦁ Remove pepperonis from pan and transfer it to a plate.
⦁ You can optionally garnish it with diced fresh basil.
