How to Prepare Keto Samosa

You need to spare about 35 minutes for preparing the keto samosas. Prep time is about 25 minutes and cook time is 17 to 20 minutes. There are 3 different parts of the preparation; first is for preparing the filling, then there is preparing the dough, and the final one is assembling. Here is how to do each of them:

Filling:

Step #01 – Put a large skillet over a medium flame and add butter to it

Step #02 – Add in the cauliflower and onions as soon as the butter has melted and stopped foaming

Step #03 – Sprinkle salt over the vegetables and cook them. Keep stirring until the vegetables are cooked through. Stop when the edges start to turn brown

Step #04 – Add coriander, cumin seeds, chili flakes, ginger root, garam masala, and ground cumin to the cooked vegetables. Stir the mix for 1 or 2 minutes before turning off the heat

Step #05 – Now, add cilantro to the mixture. Taste the mix and add seasoning and salt as per taste

Step #06 – Preheat the oven to 3750F and keep a baking sheet, a rolling pin, and 2 pieces of parchment ready

Dough:

Step #01 – Set up a double boiler

Step #02 – The water in the lower part of the double boilers needs to be boiling. Once done, turn the heat setting to low

Step #03 – Now, add almond flour, cumin, mozzarella, and salt in the upper part of the double boiler. Stir the ingredients to mix them together

Step #04 – Next, place the bowl with almond flour mixture over the simmering water

Step #05 – Heat the mixture until the mozzarella cheese melts completely and the mixture forms a dough. Stir constantly

Step #06 – Put the dough on a parchment paper and knead a few times. Shape the dough into a rectangle and cover it with a second parchment sheet

Step #07 – Roll the dough into a rectangle, which is about 8-inch in width and 16-inch in length

Step #08 – Cut the rectangular dough in half lengthwise, followed by another half crosswise cut. Thereafter, cut each of the 4 pieces in half crosswise and form 8, 4-inch squares

Assembling:

Step #01 – Put the filling in the center of each square. Fold each of the squares on the diagonal in order to form a triangle. Pinch to close the edges

Step #02 – Place one of the parchment pieces that you used to roll the dough onto a baking sheet. Now, place the samosas on the same

Step #03 – Using a fork, make holes in each of the samosas for letting the steam to escape. Bake the samosas for about 15 to 20 minutes or until they turn golden brown

Step #04 – Serve and enjoy!
