Ingredients required for Keto Sour Cream Donut Cake:

Keto Sour Cream Donuts

    1 and ½ cups of finely milled almond flour



   ½ cup coconut flour

   1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder

   1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

   ½ cup granulated sugar substitute

   1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

   ¾ cup of full-fat sour cream

   3 eggs

   1/4 cup of unsalted melted butter, cooled

   1 teaspoon​ of vanilla extract

Keto Vanilla Icing. Keto Sour Cream Donut Cake

    2 tablespoons of melted butter, cooled



    ¾ cup of confectioners substitute

    1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

   3-4 tablespoons of hot water

   1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

   1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

How to prepare Keto Sour Cream Donut Cake

1   Firstly we have to preheat our oven to 350 degrees.



2  Then grease with melted butter two 6 cavity Donuts pans.

3  Take a large bowl and add almond flour, coconut flour, sugar substitute, baking powder, nutmeg and salt and mix well till well combined.

4  Into the dry ingredients add the sour cream, melted butter vanilla extract and add 3 beaten eggs and mix well till well combined.

5  You can mix the butter with an electric mixer till thoroughly combined.

6  With the help of a pastry bag pipe the batter into two prepared Donut pans.

7  Make sure you fill the Donut pans just to the rim because these Donuts do not raise much.

8  Bake these for 15 to 20 minutes till Donuts are fully cooked or till the toothpick comes out clean.



9  Now allow the Donuts to cool fully at room temperature.

 

Keto Vanilla Icing: Keto Sour Cream Donut Cake

1.   Take a microwave bowl and melt the butter in it.

2.  Then in the same bowl add sugar substitute, vanilla extract, sea salt and nutmeg.

3.   Add hot water and mix well till well combined.

4.   Dip the Donuts into the icing and leave them on a baking tray to set them.

5.   The Donuts will form a thin frosted shell on the surface.
