Keto Zucchini Crust Pizza

 

The keto zucchini crust pizza is not only a savory delight but also a healthy meal that has a less demanding effort. The low on carbs meal is very easy to prepare and requires only a total of 5 ingredients.



Ingredients required for Keto Zucchini Crust Pizza
Total Servings – 8

Cooking Time – 30 minutes
● 225 grams Zucchini (2 cups grated coarsely)
● 112 grams mozzarella cheese (shredded)
● 28 grams coconut flour
● 3 eggs (large)
● 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Note:
● Avoid using soft fresh mozzarella. Instead, use hard mozzarella or pre-shredded mozzarella.



How to Prepare Keto Zucchini Crust Pizza
1 – Grease a 12-inch or 14-inch non-stick pizza pan and set the oven to 350 0 F.
2 – Form a thin layer using grated zucchini in the pan. Sprinkle a little sea salt and bake the same for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the zucchini turns soft and dry.
3 – Take a large bowl and mix coconut flour, eggs, mozzarella, and sea salt in it.
4 – Once the zucchini is set, dry it using paper towels. Now, add it to the bowl and mix thoroughly to form a dough.



5 – Grease the same pan again and spread the zucchini dough in the pan in the shape of a uniform circle. Bake the same for about 20 to 30 minutes or up until the point there are brown spots on top of the zucchini pizza crust.
6 – Remove the zucchini pizza crust from the oven and preheat the oven to 400 0 F.
7 – Allow the zucchini pizza crust to cool down for 10 minutes at room temperature.
8 – Top the zucchini pizza crust with toppings and a thick sauce and place it in the oven. Bake for about 10 minutes or so until the cheese on the top melts.




9 – Remove the zucchini crust pizza from the oven and serve warm with your favorite sauce(s).
