How to Prepare Carb Free Stuffed Peppers

A total of 50 minutes are required before you can actually enjoy savouring the delectable ketogenic meal. Out of the total required time, 10 minutes are required for prepping the ingredients and 40 minutes for actual cooking. So, here is the step by step guide on cooking the keto stuffed peppers:

1 – Start by preheating the oven to 375 o F

2 – Wash the peppers carefully followed by chopping off the tops. Set aside the tops and remove the seeds from inside

3 – Season the insides of the peppers with salt and pepper. Set it aside

4 – Take a frying pan, pour olive oil into it, and place it on a medium heat setting. Cook garlic with onion in the oil for about 2 minutes

5 – Now, add ground beef along with oregano, salt, and pepper to the frying pan and cook the mixture for about 5 minutes or until  the meat is browned

6 – Thereafter, add cauliflower rice and tomato sauce to the mixture

7 – Add the remaining salt and pepper to the mix and cook for another 2 minutes, while stirring constantly

8 – Taste the mix for salt. Add more, if required

9 – Remove the prepared stuffing from the frying pan and divide it into 4 equal parts

10 – Stuff each pepper with 1 part of the stuffing and place the tops over the peppers when done

11 – Cover each pepper with foil and bake them for 25 minutes

12 – Now, remove the foil and bake for another 5 or 10 minutes or until the peppers turn soft and fully cooked

13 – Serve and enjoy!
