How to Prepare Cabbage Lasagna Recipe – Low-Carb and Gluten Free
1 – Remove all the leaves from the cabbage head and wash it thoroughly
2 – Parboil the picked leaves in salted boiling water for about 5 to 10 minutes. Thereafter, drain excess water
3 – Mix parmesan cheese and ricotta with eggs. Also, add parsley if using to the mix. Ensure that the mix is blended uniformly. Set it aside
4–Now, stir marinara sauce into the browned meat
5 – Take an 11×15-inch baking pan and spread about ¾ cup of the sauce onto the bottom
6 – Place a single layer of cooked cabbage leaves over the sauce
7 – Now, spread about one-half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the cabbage leaves
8 – Add the remaining sauce as topping to the cheese mixture
9 – Now, cover the sauce with half of the mozzarella cheese
10 – Add more layers
11 – You can top it with additional parmesan cheese if required
12 – Bake it at 3500F for about 25 minutes
13 – Serve and enjoy!
