How to Prepare the Keto Coconut Barfi
You need to spare about 1 hour for preparing the nariyal ki mithai recipe and another 20 minutes for cooking the same. But don’t worry, you’re effort will be rewarded well with the delectable delicacy.
Following is the step-by-step procedure for preparing the ketogenic coconut barfi with milk powder
1 – Place the desiccated coconut and coconut milk in two separate bowls
2 – Heat 100 ml coconut milk in the microwave for about a minute or two
3 – Now, add the coconut to the milk and let it soak for about an hour. Keep it covered during the time
4 – Take a wok and add 5 teaspoons of ghee to it
5 – Place the wok on medium heat setting
6 – Now, add the soaked coconut to the wok
7 – Keep cooking the mix on a low heat setting
8 – Keep stirring the mix regularly and avoid it sticking to the bottom
9 – Soak the saffron in the remaining 15 ml of warm coconut milk and leave it aside
10 – After a duration of 5 to 7 minutes or until you see the ghee appearing on the sides of the wok
11 – Keep cooking it for another 2-3 minutes and then add the cardamom powder
12 – Now add the soaked saffron to the barfi mixture and keep cooking for another 5 minutes until the mixture starts leaving the wok
13 – Spread 1 teaspoon of melted ghee on a plate
14 – Place the barfi mixture on the plate and spread it uniformly
15 – Sprinkle the grounded almonds on top of the burfi mixture
16 – Place the plate in the fridge after letting it stay there for about 2 hours
17 – Now take out the plate and cut the barfi in any desired shape
18 – Melt coconut oil, add unsweetened cocoa and a few drops of stevia to the same to form a uniform sauce
19 – Apply the sauce on some or all barfi pieces
20 – Serve and enjoy! Gole ki barfi
