This keto-friendly pizza is made with a delicious almond flour crust that’s crispy, flavorful, and low in carbs.
Ingredients required for Keto Pizza Pie:
2 lbs ground meat beef, turkey and/or Italian sausage
¼ cup Italian bread crumbs use gluten free bread crumbs for even lower carbs
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Half teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
Pinch red pepper flakes
1 cup pizza sauce more or less to taste
1 cup mozzarella cheese
How to prepare Keto Pizza Pie:
1 Take a bowl and add beaten eggs, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and red pepper flakes with ground meat and mix it well till well combined.
2 Into cast iron skillet add the meat mixture and press it to make it flat.
3 Now bake this for 400˚ for at least 30 to 35 minutes or till meat is fully cooked.
4 Gently remove the hot skillet with meat from the oven and gently tilting the skillet over the sink.
5 Do not touch the skillet and do not over-tilt it.
6 Now layer it on pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese and any toppings you like the most or till the cheese has melted well.
7 Let it cool fully and enjoy the relish dish.
Make sure in mind the meat will continue to cook a bit more once it’s returned to the oven with sauce and cheese.
If you are using lean ground meat lightly grease the pan to prevent the layer of meat from sticking.
