Ingredients required for a Chicken Cream Spinach Pasta
One (8 ounces) package of penne pasta
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 (14 ounces) can of Italian-style diced tomatoes
One (10 ounces) package of spinach
1 (8 ounces) package of cream cheese, softened
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
How to prepare Creamy chicken spinach pasta:
1 In the first step we have to preheat our oven to 180 degrees C.
2 Now take a large pot and we have to boil water with slightly added salt and add penne and let it cook till tender yet firm to the bite.
3 We have to cook it for around 8 to 10 minutes and drain it.
4 Now take a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil.
5 When heated up the oil add chopped onion and sauté well.
6 Now we have to add mixed penne pasta, chicken, diced tomatoes, spinach, and cream cheese till it melts well and coats everything.
7 Now put this mixture into the greased baking dish, grease the baking dish with melted butter.
8 Now top with mozzarella cheese and cover it with aluminium foil paper.
9 Now bake it in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or till it cooks well.
10 Remove foil paper and continue baking till edges begin to brown around 10-15 minutes.
