Keto almond halwa or sheera is a traditional dessert of Indian cuisine. It is a fulfilling sweet delicacy that you can enjoy whenever you feel like it but is usually prepared for breakfast or on special occasions. Today, we’re going
to discuss how to prepare it in the ketogenic style. To make it ketogenic, we will simply replace it with coconut flour. Another important replacement is stevia or sweetener for the sugar. With that, we get the keto badam halwa with almond flour.

Ingredients required for Keto Almond Halwa Sheera
● 2 tablespoons almond slivers
● 1 cup almonds (without the skin)
● 1 teaspoon coconut flour
● 3/4 cup milk
● 1/2 cup ghee
● 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
● 1/3 cup stevia or some other sweetener
● A few saffron strands
● Soak the almonds in water for at least 2 hours prior to preparing the keto almond halwa sheera.
How to Prepare Keto Almond Halwa Sheera
1 – Use a mixer to grind the almonds. Set aside
2 – Place a deep saucepan on medium flame and add ghee to it. Once the ghee melts completely, add the almonds. Continue heating the almonds and stirring occasionally for about 5 to 7 minutes.
3 – Take another saucepan and add milk with 1/2 cup of water to it. Boil the mixture for about 3 to 5 minutes and then set aside.
4 – Next, add the coconut flour to the saucepan with the almonds. Mix and keep cooking and stirring for about 2 minutes.
5 – Add the milk-water mixture to the almond mixture and stir occasionally while cooking for about 5 minutes on a medium flame.
6 – Now, add the stevia and saffron to the saucepan, and mix well. Keep cooking and stirring for up to 2 minutes.
7 – Finally, add the cardamom powder to the mixture and garnish it with almond slivers. Now, you’re all set to enjoy the keto almond halwa sheera.
