Prepare the Ingredients and Preheat Your Oven:

Begin by gathering all your ingredients for the recipe and preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, combine the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano and sea salt. Once it’s mixed, add the ground pork and egg. Use your hands to mix everything until fully combined. Roll the mixture into small balls about 1-2 inches in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!

Make the Meatballs Batter:

To make the batter for the gluten-free almond flour meatballs, start by combining the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano and sea salt in a bowl. Next, add the ground pork and egg to the mixture and use your hands to thoroughly mix all of the ingredients. Now you are ready to roll it into small meatball balls about 1-2 inches in diameter and place them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Shape and Bake the Meatballs:

Now that the batter is ready, you can start shaping your gluten-free almond flour meatballs. Take a spoonful at a time and form two-inch balls with your hands. Place them on the prepared parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 375F” or until cooked through. Enjoy!

To ensure that the meatballs stay intact while baking, be sure to use slightly wet hands when rolling them as this will help keep the batter together. You can also lightly grease your hands with oil or butter before shaping them. For an extra crunchy coating, roll each of the balls in a thin layer of almond meal which adds flavour & a nice golden brown colour on the outside. To further enhance the flavour and make a tenderer meatball, you can mix in Parmesan cheese and dried herbs. Have fun experimenting to find what works best for your perfect meatballs!

Serve with Your Favourite Sauce or Toppings:

Serve your delicious homemade gluten-free almond flour meatballs with your favourite sauce, herbs and spices. They go particularly well with a marinara or tomato sauce. You can also enjoy them topped with cheese and any other favourite topping you have on hand. Enjoy!
