Ingredients Required For Keto Baked Low-Carb Sugar-Free Gulab Jamun

How to Prepare Baked Low-Carb Sugar-Free Keto Gulab Jamun

The entire process is divided, into 4, sections, each one of which is defined in several easy-to-follow steps.
Part 1 – Preparing the Dough
Step 1. – Take 1 cup of fresh ricotta cheese and place it on a paper towel. Let it there until all moisture and liquid are, drained.
Step 2. – Now, add ½ cup of almond flour and ¼ teaspoon of baking powder to the dry cheese and roll into a dough. Add a few tablespoons of extra almond flour if the dough appears sticky.

Step 1. – Add a few drops of black food colour, To the dough and mix it well. It might turn to light grey

Step 3. – Make small balls out of the dough. Roll until the surface turns smooth

Step 5 – Brush each ball with melted ghee or butter. This Step is Important as it will prevent jamuns from drying out during baking
Step 6 – Bake the jamuns for about 5 minutes on the same side. Then, flip them and bake again for 5 minutes
Step #07 – Turn off the microwave oven & let the Jamuns stay in the microwave oven for about 5 minutes

You can skip adding colour to the dough if you wish to
You can use a needle for checking whether jamuns have been cooked all the way through or not. Insert the Needle to the centre of a Jamun and then pull it out. It should come out clean.
Part 3 – Prepare the Syrup
Step #01 – Add 1 cup of water and ¼ cup of sugar-free granular sweetener to a pan
now Step #02 – Add ¼ teaspoon of cardamom powder and a pinch of saffron to the pan
Step #03 – Bring the mixture to boil
now Step #04 – Turn off the heat

When using agave syrup, heat 2 cups of the same in a pan
Part 4 – Add the Jamuns into the Syrup
Step 1. – Put the jamuns into the warm syrup.
Step 2. – Let them stay soaked in the syrup for about 30 minutes. This will, make them swell and increase in size.
Step 3. – Serve the sugar-free gulab jamun with some syrup and chopped pistachios & enjoy!
